Welcome To The Lucas Fox Art Lounge

Last week we inaugurated the first Property Art Lounge in Barcelona, in the beautiful new headquarters of Lucas Fox International Properties on Passeig de Gracia.

For Lucas Fox we have curated a selection of contemporary pieces from a variety of artists to reflect the different dimensions and layers of the art world in Spain.

This collaboration between Lucas Fox International Properties and The Art Büro is a seamless meeting of two worlds, bridging the gap between the art world and the real estate sector in the city.

"The Passeig the Gracia lounge serves not only as a space to inspire our clients, colleagues  and partners to bring more art in to their lives, but also as a space where local artists find opportunities to connect with potential art buyers through unconventional routes.  We are passionate about supporting  the local art world and are delighted to make it a more thought out part of the real estate conversation in Barcelona." - Alexander Vaughan, Partner

The stunning space in an elegant modernist building typical of the Eixample was designed by Recdi8 Living, a cool, contemporary space ideal for filling with ART!

Thanks to our close relationships with the most prestigious galleries and artists in Spain, the showroom currently has works available to acquire by Yago Hortal, Jordi Alcaraz, Luna Paiva, Guillermo Lorca, Joan Ill, Carla Cascales Alimbau, Nemo Jantzen, Jacinto Moros, Eduardo Pérez Cabrero, Gastón Lisak, Viani, Las Ánimas, Santiago Picatoste, Fernando de Ana and Gabriel Pereyra. Some of the artworks are courtesy of Galería Senda, Gärna Gallery, Victor Lope, L&B Gallery and Polígrafa Obra Gráfica.

The Landing (2019) - Guillermo Lorca

A surprise new detail

One of the stand-out highlight pieces is this one of a kind intervened print created especially for the Lucas Fox Art Lounge by Guillermo Lorca. The artist surprised us by painting a cockerel directly onto a giclée print of original piece The Landing (2019).

Inspired by art history icons from Romanticism to the Pre-raphaelites, the work of Chilean artist Guillermo Lorca has made an impactful entry into the art world thanks to his solo presentation at Moco Museum in Barcelona and he is now a sought after artist in the international art market.

SP 200 (2018) - Yago Hortal

White Day (2022) - Eduardo Pérez Cabrero

This mesmerising piece by Yago Hortal (above left) is among the special selection of artworks we have curated for the brand new Lucas Fox headquarters in Barcelona. ✨ One of the brightest stars of the contemporary Spanish art world, Yago Hortal is one of the most sought after artists of his generation.

We are also honoured that Eduardo Pérez Cabrero has created a bespoke ceramic wall sculpture especially for Art Lounge (above right). The work of the Barcelona born artist is sincere, pure and optimistic, an exaltation of “Joie de Vivre”.

Argentinian born artist Luna Paiva is loved by both international contemporary art collectors and high end brands, having collaborated with Hermes, Cartier, Ferragamo and others. Known for her photography and sculptures casting objects such as boulders and cacti in polished bronze, we are delighted to be able to showcase two of her Chinese ink drawings on paper.
