EDUARDO PéREZ CABRERO

Barcelona 1961
The work of Barcelona born artist Eduardo Pérez Cabrero is sincere, pure and optimistic, an exaltation of “Joie de Vivre”. Living between the Costa Brava and Miami, his work is characterised by the influence of the Mediterranean landscapes and culture. His primary focus lies in sculpture, working on rounded and sinuous shapes in large formats with organic references.

About The Artist:

Eduardo Pérez Cabrero’s glass or ceramic site specific wall sculptures emerge both from formal research and from a more conceptual interest. They make reference to genetics as the fundamental engine of human beings as well as to the shapes of the flora and fauna of the underwater world.

Eduardo uses the Mediterranean colours par excellence: the white of Cadaqués, the yellow of sunflowers, the green of the pine trees on the Costa Brava, the blue of the sea in Formentera and the golden hues of the fields of Empordà.

His pieces have dressed the lobby of the Four Seasons Hotel in Madrid and the Hilton Hotel in Fontanillas on the Costa Brava, and, alongside the artist Abdullah Qaandel, he has tuned the interior of a Lamborghini car.

His work is present in private collections in Spain, Andorra, France, Italy, Germany, the United States, Mexico and Russia. In Barcelona, he is present at the Hotel Majestic and in Madrid at the Four Seasons Hotel, with 12 pieces, two of which are in the lobby.
